Arabian origins,
Western refinement.
NOVACRYNE begins where perfume once began: in the Arab world, where scent is part of hospitality, of ritual and of daily life.
The Arabian tradition
For centuries, amber, woods, resins and spices have been blended in the Middle East into scents that are warm, deep and lasting. Scent is worn there not to stand out, but to welcome: in the home, on the skin, in clothing.
The Western eye
In Europe another school grew: bright, light and structured. Fresh citrus, powdery iris, creamy vanilla. Compositions with few notes, well balanced.
East meets West
NOVACRYNE brings those two worlds together. The depth and character of the East, with the clarity and refinement of the West. Every scent is a blend of its own: recognisably Eastern at the base, Western in the opening.
Amber, sandalwood, musk, labdanum, cinnamon, cardamom and cedar.
Bergamot, mandarin, iris, neroli, pear and vanilla.
How it comes together in each scent

East: dry cedarwood and warm ginger from the Arabian tradition. West: sparkling Mediterranean mandarin and bergamot.

East: soft musk and sandalwood, the heart of Arabian perfumery. West: powdery iris and pink pepper in the French style.

East: amber, labdanum and cinnamon as in the Arabian souks. West: round tonka bean and bright mandarin.

East: creamy sandalwood and warm musk. West: vanilla, pear and heliotrope from the French gourmand tradition.

East: dark woods and smoky spices. West: a clean, modern composition for the late hours.
