Cookie policy NOVACRYNE · English draft 0.1 · 2 November 2026 · cookie names follow after the cookie scan · the Dutch version prevails
1. Who is responsible?
This cookie policy applies to novacryne.nl and to the checkout pages on checkout.novacryne.nl. The party responsible is:
Finco, trading as NOVACRYNE KvK: 77251954 · VAT: NL223505407B01 Address: Pfinztalstraat 34, 4143 JB Leerdam, the Netherlands Email: [email to follow]
You can read more about what we do with your data in our Privacy Notice.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar techniques are local storage, pixels and scripts that read information from your device. In this policy we call all of these "cookies".
3. Your choice: the cookie banner
On your first visit you will see our cookie banner. There you choose:
- Accept: you consent to analytics and marketing cookies.
- Reject: we only use necessary cookies.
- Settings: you choose per category. Nothing is pre-ticked.
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent is just as easy as giving it. If you withdraw your consent, we stop using analytics and marketing cookies from that moment. You can also delete cookies that have already been placed yourself in your browser.
If you do not make a choice, we only use necessary cookies.
4. What types of cookies do we use?
We use the same categories as in the cookie banner.
| Category | What for | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | To make the site work: your basket, checking out in our Shopify checkout, security and remembering your cookie choice. | No. These cookies are strictly necessary for the service you request (Art. 11.7a(3) of the Dutch Telecommunications Act). |
| Analytics | To measure with Google Analytics 4 how visitors use the site, for example which pages they view and where they drop out of the ordering process. | Yes. |
| Marketing | To measure with Google Ads which ads lead to a visit or purchase, and to show ads that suit you. | Yes. |
| [to follow, Patron's choice] | [For example, remembering a language or country choice. Only include if the site or the CMP actually uses this category.] | [to follow] |

6. Google Consent Mode v2
We use Google Consent Mode v2. By default, all Google settings are set to "denied" (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization). As long as you do not give consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads do not place or read any analytics or advertising cookies.
Option A [to follow, Patron's choice]: Without consent, the site does send limited signals without cookies ("cookieless pings") to Google, for example that a page has been viewed or an order placed. Google receives technical data such as your IP address and browser type, but no cookie or advertising ID. Google uses these signals to estimate statistics and advertising results. If you do not want this, you can [to follow].
Option B [to follow, Patron's choice]: Without consent, the Google tags do not load at all and nothing is sent to Google.
If you give consent, we update the settings for the categories you choose. Analytics turns on analytics_storage. Marketing turns on ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization.
7. Checking out on checkout.novacryne.nl
You check out in Shopify's secure checkout on checkout.novacryne.nl. You will not see a new cookie banner there. We pass the choice you made on novacryne.nl on to the checkout via Shopify, because both are on the same main domain. Shopify always places the necessary cookies in the checkout. Analytics and marketing measurement in the checkout only takes place if you have consented to it.
8. Who do we share data with?
- Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager): only with your consent, except for the limited signals in §6 [if advanced is chosen]. Google may process data in the United States. See the Privacy Notice about transfers outside the EU.
- Shopify (shop and checkout) and [CMP provider].
- More about purposes, legal bases and retention periods is in the Privacy Notice.
9. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies yourself in your browser. If you block necessary cookies, the basket and checkout may not work.
10. Changes
We update this policy if we start using different cookies. If there is a significant change, we will ask for your consent again. Last updated: [date].
